The Breese Chamber of Commerce is an active organization of over 90 members who work hand-in-hand with the city of Breese to promote business and residential growth and encourage tourism and shopping.  Along with promoting Breese, the Chamber works to improve the existing facilities and the historical aspects of  the city. Members of the Chamber are proud of their businesses. Many are family owned ranging in size from small stores and businesses to sizable corporations. The Chamber meetings are held on the last Tuesday in January, April, and October and the 3rd Tuesday in July. Meetings consist of a meal followed by the business agenda. Annual Chamber Events:

Annual Chamber events include the Streetfest, the Christmas Parade, Holiday Fireworks display (Northside Park), and Lighted House Tour.

The Streetfest is an outdoor festival held the first Saturday in June on Main Street. Attractions include various food stands, children's rides, and live entertainment. (2006 Streetfest will not be held due to the Breese Sesquicentennial activities).

The Christmas season in Breese begins with the Annual Christmas Parade the Saturday night after Thanksgiving. Santa is present along with floats by businesses, organizations, and music provided by the local school bands. The parade ends at Northside park where Santa turns on the lighted Christmas displays. An eight foot snowman, a twelve foot chapel, snowflakes hanging from trees, a train carrying Santa's toys, and many more lights are included in this display with more added every year. Next, there is an unforgettable fireworks display. Also during the Christmas Season is a trolley tour of several homes decorated for the holidays.
